About The Artist
Since I was eight years old, I remember drawing cartoons and various subjects, like airplanes, cars, trains, and even sketching my father asleep on the sofa.
When I was fifteen, I enrolled in a commercial art course, learning pen and ink, sketching, and some water color. I went on doing free lance art work when I could
I started oil painting after I was twenty two years old. I sold my first modern abstract painting and a few more later on.
A senior couple wanted me to paint and enlarge a small winter scene. I enlarged it four times the original size.
In the late 60's, my paintings were on exhibit in the Royal Oak Art Show. One of my paintings, "The Jacket" was even in the Daily Tribune Newspaper.
I have added many paintings to my collection, painting larger and using other mediums to work with finding acrylic the most desirable and easier to work with.
In addition to my original paintings, I now offer prints. Of course, you just can't beat an original, I have found that once the prints are framed, they are often just as nice as the original. And most importantly, they are affordable for those who appreciate art.
